There will be a campsite located on the festival site, just a few minutes’ walk from the main arena.
The amount of plastic in one tent is equal to 8,750 straws. If you bring it, take it back. If you don’t want the hassle, we will be providing a pre-erected tent option available to purchase at check-out

There is also a Premier Inn located right next to the festival site. This is a good alternative for those who want to have the experience of a festival with the luxury of having their own room and a bathroom.
Mad Hatters’ Affair is located at Bramley Farm, Polegate, BN26 6QN, East Sussex. This is just a 10 min walk from Polegate train station and a map explaining how to find us will be provided closer to the event.
The direct train journey takes about 30 min from Brighton train station and 1h20min from London Victoria train station.
There will be car parking spaces available on the site for an extra charge of £10.
Please take care of your planet! Choose the train journey or if driving, use the carshare service.

Basic Info / T&C
Accessibility: MHA will provide accessible toilets as well as carpark spaces
Accommodation: Full access to the campsite is included in the ticket price. There is also a Premier Inn located next to the festival site.
Age Restrictions: MHA is a 21 and over event.
Alcohol: You are permitted to bring up to two of the following amounts of alcohol per person into the campsite (NOT the licensed area): 1 crate of beer, 3 litres of wine, 1 litre of spirits. Please remember, glass containers are not allowed for health and safety reasons. Bars in the main arena will be serving a variety of alcoholic drinks.
Animals: Unfortunately, no animals are allowed this year due to health and safety reasons tied to our licensing.
Campervans and Caravans: Allowed but a special pass need to be pre-purchased from our ticketing page for £20. Please note, there will be staff monitoring the space but MHA is not liable for any damage done to the vehicles during their stay.
Cancellation: The Event is organised by Mad Hatters’ Affair (MHA). MHA reserves the right to cancel, modify or terminate this Event at any time if it cannot be operated, conducted or completed as planned due to reasons beyond the reasonable control of MHA.
Capacity: MHA has only a 499-capacity which means that you will have a very unique, intimate experience. We encourage you to use this as an opportunity to connect with other, like-minded people.
Children: Unfortunately, no children are allowed this year due to the licensing regulations. However, this is something we are very much looking forward to including next year.
Drugs: MHA practices a no drug policy.
Food: Food vendors on site will be serving plant-based dishes. We will try to accommodate all allergies but if you want to make sure you’ll be able to find something for yourself, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You’re welcome to bring food and soft drinks with you to the campsite but not into the arena. Please note: Although we are a vegan festival and we would love to see you eat plant based the whole weekend with us, we will not be stopping you from bringing animal products into the campsite.
Hygiene: There will be toilets and showers available for free use on the festival site.

Open Fires: Open fires are not allowed but camping stoves and single use barbecues are permitted.
Opening Times: The main arena will be opening Friday-Sunday at 10am and closing at 2am (except for Sunday - 11pm) when the music stops. However, there will be activities starting as early as 8am around the rest of the site for all of the early birds who like to wake up with the first rays of sunshine.
Payments: Cash and card payments will be accepted on site, therefore, it is best to bring both. No cash machines on site.
Parking: Parking available for the extra charge of £10. There will be staff monitoring the space however MHA is not liable for any damage done to the vehicles during their stay.
Programme Changes: The Event Organiser reserves the right to make changes to the advertised line-up, artists, performers, attractions and activities at any time without notification. We reserve the right to terminate any vendor contract or terms of agreement with notification.
Prohibited Items: Glass, knives, guns, explosives, cannons, rockets, nuclear bombs, weapons. Drums, whistles and loud speakers sound systems are also prohibited.
Refunds: We do not normally accept returns, unless agreed so before purchase, on specific terms. We can however, change the name on the ticket for you at no extra cost. In the event of festival cancellation the ticket price will be refunded to your account.
Safety: There will be security staff present at all times on the festival site. Please, don’t be afraid to seek their help if you notice anything disturbing. If you struggle to find one, please approach one of our stewards who will be able to assist you.
Site Access: ALL tickets holders, will gain FULL access to the campsite at 2pm Thursday and will have to leave the site by 12pm on Monday. These hours also apply to the carpark and campervan site access times.
Sustainability: Our mission is to remain as eco friendly as practically possible. We will be generating energy with solar panels, eliminating single use plastics and products, using reusable cups at the bar. However, we need your help: please use the recycling bins, don’t leave your tents and trash behind, treat your surroundings with respect.
Tickets: There is no need for printing the tickets. Save the paper and download it on your phone. IDs will be checked upon entry.
VIP: We at Mad Hatters’ Affair are strong advocates of equality where justifiable, and more importantly, equity, therefore we will not be providing VIP zones at this festival.
Violence: Violent behaviour will not be tolerated under any condition. The organiser reserves the right to remove from the festival site any individual causing harm or distress to others.
Water: There will be access to free water taps around the site. Please, remember to bring your reusable bottle or buy one from our merch stall.
Welfare: There will be a medical and welfare tent located on the festival site where you can always seek help or advice. If you struggle to find it, please approach one of our mobile medical staff or a steward who will be able to assist you.
